It started with apps.It was never just about code.

Appfinity has grown with the problems we’ve taken on. We started with mobile apps, then moved into complete systems, data and better processes, connecting technology with the physical world. Today, we bring the same approach to manufacturing.

We don’t try to fit into a single category. We’d rather understand the problem and find a way to make things work better.

01 / WHERE IT STARTED

First came the apps.

Piotr and Magda have known each other since school and later studied in Wrocław. A cousin running a startup helped spark Piotr’s interest in IT. Early mobile projects followed, including Haterick — and a team began to form around the work.

Working in IT since 2016. Around 30 major projects, some developed over many years.

Taking on more of the problem.

Over time, fewer challenges ended with a single app. Projects needed data collection, backends, integrations, infrastructure and UX. Making these work together meant understanding the whole business process.

Our focus shifted from a single tool to the whole problem.

DIFFERENT PROJECTS. THE SAME APPROACH.

Both sides of an order

A restaurant system connected the customer app with the restaurant app. Placing the order mattered, but so did everything that happened on the other side.

From booking to opening a door

A booking system connected to a programmable door handle. The digital process had to work in the physical world, too.

From data to useful information

Data projects and tools for the property market. Having information is a starting point — what matters is what people can do with it.

Technology should help, not impress.

Building more isn’t always the answer. Sometimes it’s better to simplify a process, connect existing tools, use data more effectively or remove an unnecessary step. We’re not tied to a single solution or technology stack.

We choose the tool to fit the problem. Never the other way round.

02 / THE SAME THINKING, A NEW CONTEXT

A different world. The same philosophy.

Garment manufacturing wasn’t a chance detour. The workshop was a family business run by Piotr’s father in a small town in eastern Poland. For years, Piotr and Magda helped with customer relationships, organisation, trims and supplies.

In 2024, Piotr took over the workshop and began the next stage of its development.

We brought our approach from IT into manufacturing in Poland: carefully designed processes, automation and fewer unnecessary operations. Better planning, modern machinery and continuous improvements help us take the work forward.

Code or a sewing machine — the principle is the same. Make the process work as well as it can.

Today, we build our own solutions too.

We also put our experience from client projects into Appfinity’s own solutions and partner ventures. Data, automation and AI help us test ideas faster — from small, focused tools to evolving digital products.
